I pray everyday since i have asked the LORD back into my life. I do believe that the LORD answers r prayers mabe not inthe way we want him to but, he is always there 4 us no matter what. I truly am achild of GOD and i know that he loves me!!!It’s such awonderful feeling and my heart is filled with such JOY I want 2 shout it from my rooftop!!GLORY BE TO GOD FOR BRINGING THE GOSPEL BACK INTO MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!! I think the recommend interview is just for answering the questions. Unless you have questions about how to answer, you should just keep it to yes and no. If you have things to confess, you probably shouldn’t be in the recommend interview. That should be a separate meeting.

I used to feel the recommend interview was the equivalent of the confessional and spilled my guts about all my sins and shortcomings.

Now, I keep it short and just answer the questions the way they want me to. I figure it’s all between me and God anyway, as long as I’m not committing adultery or serial murder.

J, I’m not a bishop, but I am pretty certain that crossdressing is not a sin.

I have an addiction to crossdressing, I’ve had it since childhood. Should I confess to my bishop, is it a serious sin, and what might the consequences be if I confess? I’m a 16 year old aaronic priesthood holder. Any bishops on here that can give me some advice?

When we look at Acts, the bible (which we view as complete God-inspired truth) states that men, from “every nation under heaven” heard the gospel in their own tongue.

Act 2:5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, FROM EVERY NATION of those under heaven.
Act 2:6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because they were hearing each one speaking in his own language.

Therefore, scripturally, the prerequisite is fulfilled. All nations under heaven heard the gospel as per scripture, shortly after Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection.

This should adjust some views on time-frames and where we are at amongst some, as they would be waiting for what has already come to pass
