The 24-hr a day part is reasonable but probably not needed. I know that on Fridays the Sao Paulo temple would run non-stop.

Also note that Joseph Smith was able run the endowment in 30 minutes.

We will already be judged, The morning of the resurrection has already begun, and did so with Christs resurrection. Yes the final judgement does come at the end. But lets hope we do not have to wait for that. It is reserved for those with no reward (see section 76)

Some of us will be at Eternal Institute class working on our own perfection. We have plenty to learn about living like God.

And then yes we will be helping those here on this sphere to continue in this work as well. I think there will be lots to do with a perfected body and no veil.

I don’t assume there will only be 100 temples during the Millenium. Brigham Young said there would be thousands (so that’s at least 2001).

Further motals will die at the age of 100 during the Millenium and when you are resurrected at the begining or during the Millenium to a Celestial body it is not the final judgement. The final judgement comes at the end of the Millenium, after you’ve had a thousand years to work on yourself to become perfect. I agree once you receive your resurrected body you can’t change it in for a better one, but the final judgement comes at the end.

Who will be doing the temple work? Mortals living on the earth. Children born during the millennium will live until 72 years old, when they will be changed in the twinkling of an eye into resurrected beings. I assume that during the millennium the infant mortality rate and other causes of early death will be much lower, if not eliminated all together. The population should become quite large, even with the massive clearing of the stubble at the beginning of the millennium.

Don’t assume that just because we have only a few more than 100 temples now that there won’t be more later. Temples will dot the earth during the millennium. The temple work will continue day and night.

I just don’t get why Resurected beings can’t perform ordinacne work

Because their perfected bodies won’t suffer from acne. (Sorry J. I love little accidents like that.)

On a serious note, does Pres. Smith’s decree preclude the resurrected from serving as officiators and veil workers? That is, might the mortals still be required to serve as proxies, but the immortals staff the temples, perform the ordinances, etc.?

If that’s the case, I bet roast beef night in the temple cafeteria is gonna ROCK!!
