Of course its possible to win a game even if you are in reactive
mode. Many players are involved in dozens of short season leagues at a single time.
These sports hubs help all the up to date sports like football, athletics and basketball and other team sports.

The Holy War (I really hate calling it that) is nearly always interesting. Even in years where the teams have vastly different records, it often is a very close game. I'm expecting it to be close this year too.

Agreed.

At least this might mean the Holy War will be a bit more interesting than we all thought. Hopefully:)

It wasn't Utah's idea, it's a thing that their sponsor, Under Armour was doing to honor the troops, especially wounded soldiers. You can argue with the execution, but the motivation is alright.

I'm out of the loop. What's with the goofy slogans on the jersey backs of the players? Some military nod of some sort to go with the fatigues? I swear if BYU did something like that (in a good year or no) they would get absolutely crucified for it by all sides.

Anyway, great game;-)

Not much to say about the debacle today. TCU is obviously a great team, but it seemed like Utah was strangely unlike themslves, and did not play up to their potential. Wynn was off target all day, even though he was rarely pressured. The Ute receivers dropped several easy catches and one even fell down in the open field after finally making a long reception.

The biggest problem, however, was the complete failure of the defensive secondary to stay with the TCU receivers. Utah's corners were playing more than five yards off their men and constantly got burned because of it. There never seemed to be an adjustment to this obvious flaw.

It's a sad day for Ute fans, but TCU earned a great victory and should legitimately be a contender for the BCS title.

TCU won, so next week will be the biggest game in, I don't know, forever, at the RES. Utes will be in special camo blackout. Should be awesome.

So, it was a squeaker, and it shouldn't have been (Utes get five takeaways and it's still close?!?). But at least Utah gets the win. TCU should dominate UNLV tonight and then the Utes and the Horned Frogs meet next week in a titanic battle of unbeatens for all the marbles of the non BCS teams (BSU should drop in the rankings based on their comparative strength of schedule). Stay tuned.

Even at its worst, Notre Dame is still Notre Dame.

I'll take only one loss if I have to, but I'm still hoping for undefeated.
