RT,
No sweat! It will be interesting to see what a possibly indo-european skeleton is doing in Washington that is so old.
Even though the general theory nowadays is that Jaredite/Nephite history took place somewhere in Central America, I like to think there's still a good chance it happened somewhere in this country:)

Bret, oops, mark me down as abashed. (HTML should include an tag. It would help a lot.) Although, I bet some enthusiasts would be able to make a case for a Pacific Inland Northwest limited geography...

Kristen, I'm guessing that I'd be even more impressive if I managed to code my HTML links correctly...

I've always loved the name of your blog. There was something kind of mysterious and classy about the title. Now that I know the reason behind the name I like it even more.

Roasted Tomatoes: You impress me more and more with all of the links you bring to the bloggernacle.

RT,
It was a joke. I've seen the data. Anyway, what are the chances the land of Zarahemla was in the Pacific Inland Northwest?

Bret, is it a problem that Kennewick Man dates back at least 8400 years? (Radiocarbon dating results range from 8410 to 9510 years before the present. See the technical report <a href="http://www.cr.nps.gov/archeology/kennewick/c14memo.htm" rel="nofollow">here.

Well before Coriantumr's day...

All I can say is I think Coriantumr could have given us more to learn from then just one rock with some engravings on it if he was there for nine months!
I'm thinking Coriantumr is the Kennwick Man, by the way. Wouldn't that be cool?!

Rusty,

No need to respond, but are you sure the name doesn’t allude to human reproductive cycles and is a subconscious confession of past intimacy w/ eight other women before meeting your wife?

But then again, I can only read fellow Yankee fans.
