I’ve already used this approach twice. On the second time the person asked if they could come with us to the next activity we have (I had mentioned the dinners and firesides we have).

Like hubby doesn’t get enough polygamy jokes at work. We’ve been warned here about it – letters have been read over the pulpit, and an email has cycled around our ward about writing to HBO about it, saying how offended we are that they would produce such a program.

I like the “missionary tool” approach, though. What a great springboard. Might as well take advantage of others’ irreverence.

You got it mixed up. “Holy Blood, Holy Grail” is canonized. DaVinci Code is just a cheap ripoff being sued for plaigerizing the true gospel>:)

I’ve noticed too that many Christians have decided not to picket the DaVinci Code, but to use it as an opportunity to spread the “true” Gospel. Smart.

Comment #5 in Rebecca's thread sums up perfectly what our bishopric just recently expressed to our EQ. This is an opportunity that we better take advantage of while it's still hot because the buzz for this show won't last.
