Don–Thank you for my laugh this morning. Who knows what the Millenium will be like–I find this scenario somewhat truthful, maybe a little stretching (because, honestly, do we REALLY know?), but VERY FUN.

I disagree that we are judged into our kingdom at resurrection. For almost all, this happens before, at, or shortly after the millennium starts. The problem with this belief is that the Celestial kingdom is still a thousand years off and that there will be another judgment for “all men” at that point.

Rob, everyone alive when the Millenium starts will continue to live to be 100 then will be changed – “twinkled”. They will have mortal children who will live to be 100 and so forth. There will be plenty of mortals around to do the temple work.

J., I agree with you, judgement does take place at the Resurrection, to Kingdom – but does that go as far as to determine where in that Kingdom. With my example, the girl had her endowment – so Celestial already, but without marriage not the top of the Celestial – thus my son comes along and “saves” her. It still makes my son’s marriage the way I pointed out and a bit quirky

God will reign over all his people during the millennium. All of his people will of been resurrected by the start of the millennium or shortly after. Now certainly we will not be able to do all their work before they are resurrected, will we?

We are only resurrected with the glory upon which we are quickened with. Beacause the earth will be terrestrial glory upon Christ’s arrival, all will be resurrected with terrestrial glory. That is according to the scriptures.

Eternal Judgment occurs after the millennium and not before that. There is still much we have to learn and do before judgement, this will take the millennium to perfect.

When the House is done, Baptism font erected and finished & the worthy are washed, anointed, endowed & ordained kings & priests, which must be done in this life, when the place is prepared you must go through all the ordinances of the house of the Lord so that you who have any dead friends must go through all the ordinances for them the same as for yourselves;

Judgment occurs at the resurrection (i.e., assignment to a kingdom D&C 88). There are many who assert that ordinances are required for certain kingdoms. Consequently, no resurrection until the ordinances.

If resurrected beings can do their own ordinances then we are wasting an amazing amount of time doing them right now.
