I went in early January and didn’t notice anything different. Although the films could use an update (IMO). The old Gordon Jump ones looked like Star Trek and these look like Star Trek the Next Generation. There was a rumor that they were being redone but I don’t believe anything came of it.

Guess I don’t know what is going. It’s only been since mid-Dec since I was at the temple last…the “new change” must be pretty recent. The comment about being fat/lazy made me think of the “other change” that has been said the past year or so.

Actually, Don, I think the spirit of the admonition is to not discuss the ceremony outside the confines of the temple in order that it be kept sacred — untainted by the banality of common discourse (much less the utter vulgarity of discourse online).

If you mean by “the instruction at the beginning of the session literally” the letter that was read then it depends on what you mean by literally. I haven’t discussed the change, only that there was a change. And I really am a spirit of the law kind of guy rather than a letter of the law.

We are instructed in the endowment not to discuss/reveal the signs and tokens we are given. The covenants and “doctrines” we are “taught” there are found in other places than the temple and are certainly discussed.

I really don’t see any reason to be secretive about minor changes like the men and women sitting together as husbands and wives….what’s wrong with that?

Oh, by the way, that isn’t the change so I’m not violating the LAW!
