On Easter morning itself, my kids shot up to collect their Easter baskets while my husband and I ran around getting ready for work. My kids broke a little piece of my heart when they cheerfully noted that the best thing about having Easter in Arabia is getting to eat their candy and not have to break it up by getting ready for church!
Then, worked all day, watched Singin’ in the Rain, and dragged everyone to another potluck at a friend’s house.
A lot of people would say, “No.”
…one foot in Babylon; one in Zion….
Easter was good.]]>
Then we went to church and the amount of music in the service really touched me a lot.
Otherwise it was a normal sunday with six young kids.]]>
This afteroon we watched some church videos; and talked at length about the Resurrection. Well, as long as a 6, 5, 3 and 1 year old can give.
I did make them read my blog post about the Savior. They liked the pictures and recognized the songs.
Candy and baskets were yesterday; the rest of the candy, I believe, was eaten today.
