If they didn't want us to have access to our leaders' teachings outside of conference, then they wouldn't print the talks in the Ensign and on the Internet, would they? Seriously, I'm a good reader and a bad listener. A couple of quality hours spent closely reading the conference Ensign is vastly more enriching for me than 10 hours fighting off sleep in an overheated chapel. Our conference tradition is to go on vacation or at least a day trip. If they didn’t want us to have access to our leaders’ teachings outside of conference, then they wouldn’t print the talks in the Ensign and on the Internet, would they?
