Welcome A Random John
For those who are as surprised as I am that ARJ has no blog home will be happy to know he’ll be a guest at the Nine Moons Inn. A Random John is a regular on the Bloggernacle circuit who always brings a little sense and order to the discussion. He also has respect for the Yeti, which of course sealed the deal.
We are pleased to have him guest-posting here and hope he enlightens us all.

As an ARJ fan, I proclaim, “It’s about time!”
One quibble: ARJ does have a blog. I like what I see there thus far, but I must admit that I wish he would post a bit more often.

Justin,
I mostly put that blog up so that I would have an account to use for posting to your blog.

Great — when can we expect Nine Moons to convert to slashcode?

Do you mean Yeti the mythical beast of the Himalayas or the bicycle frame?
Bryce,
Buh?
ARJ,
Welcome!

Bret,
The bicycle frame. I confessed to Rusty the other day that back in the day I lusted after a Yeti. I have gotten over that though. I think that I own the sweetest riding hardtail I’ve ever tried out. Not that it matters since I haven’t ridden in way too long.

btw, many thanks to Rusty for providing this soapbox for me. I hope that I don’t do too much damage.
Feel free to ask any reasonable questions you want about me in this thread and I’ll attempt to answer.

Only because you haven’t ridden a Yeti.

Weren’t Yetis the purple bikes?
Can’t wait to read your posts, ARJ!

Rusty,
At the end of next month we’ll have moved to Utah. Next time you’re in the SLC area bring one of your Yetis and we can go for a ride and have the head to head comparison. I’ll even buy new pedals for the occasion so that you can ride my bike as I doubt that anyone out there other than me and my brother still uses Onza clipless pedals.
I should probably mention that other than my own bike, the best riding hardtail that I’ve been on is a Fischer Super Caliber. For some reason that thing was a magic ride.
Elisabeth,
I would guess that some Yetis are purple, but I have no idea if that is a defining characteristic. Rusty might be able to shed some light on this. In any case, like the real Yeti, you hardly ever saw them.
