Funniest Segue This Year
Today’s Sacrament meeting:
“I grew up in Westchester, you know, north of the Bronx. That means I’m a huge fan of the Yankees. And you know what else I’m a huge fan of? The Ensign and the Friend magazines.”
I couldn’t stop giggling for the rest of the talk.
Why the topic was Church publications is beyond me. Please don’t ask.

I hear that Johnny Damon just cancelled his subscription to Dialogue — and that he was seen, clean-shaven, reading the New Era at a Starbucks in midtown.

The really sad thing is probably noone else even noticed, they were probably sitting there half stoned, wanting to go home and eat.
