East Coast Bloggasnacka Update: The Deets

Rusty - May 10, 2007

Date: Sunday, May 20th (just think of Brooklyn as Belgium)
Time: 5:00 PM till whenever
Location: My place in Brooklyn

Please let me know if you are coming so that I can plan accordingly and I can send you directions to my apartment. Leave a comment here or contact me at rustyclifton at gmail dot com. And FWIW, this is truly an East Coast party as there will be representatives from Boston, Baltimore and New Jersey in addition to the New Yorkers. Oh, and Logan/Amy and Emily S, stop wobbling, you’re coming.

  1. When’s the west coast one?

    Comment by Cheryl — May 10, 2007 @ 4:05 pm

  2. You’re off by three days for me! Grrrr…

    Comment by a random John — May 10, 2007 @ 6:26 pm

  3. I don’t know, Rust-man. You’re cutting it awfully close to the Sopranos time slot . . .

Add that to the fact that I just love wobbling so much, and I guess I’ll have to wobble a bit more.

    Comment by Logan — May 10, 2007 @ 6:58 pm

  4. Can’t wait, Rusty! Please do send directions from LaGuardia to your pad — adjusting w/ high levels of specificity for clueless westerners. :)

    Comment by John Dehlin — May 10, 2007 @ 9:51 pm

  5. Logan, you’d better be there!! Also Emily S, so that I can properly bow down at worship at your feet for the astonishing loveliness of your last FMH post.

  6. Awwww….Russstyyyyy….do I havvvve tooooo?? I’m really really REALLY shy and dorky. :(

Kristine – you are far too kind–but since I’ve never been worshipped before, and since it has always been my secret desire to be worshipped (I mean, why blog otherwise?), you just might have tipped the scales of doubt in favor of attending!

Though I’ll still make a idiot of myself by being really really REALLy shy and dorky. :(

    Comment by EmilyS — May 11, 2007 @ 12:11 pm

  7. May 20th, eh? So I assume you won’t be flying me out there or calling me that day. Good thing I honestly stopped caring after I turned 16 anyway:)

    Comment by Bret — May 11, 2007 @ 1:19 pm

  8. Okay Emily, but you’re going to have to email me (or leave your email) to get directions.

We’ll all call you up as a collective whole and sing happy birthday to you. It will very special.

    Comment by Rusty — May 11, 2007 @ 2:47 pm

  9. Um, Emily, we all spend our leisure time writing to perfect strangers about obscure points of Mormon doctrine and culture–if that doesn’t qualify all of us as shy and dorky, I don’t know what could :)

    Comment by Kristine — May 12, 2007 @ 5:30 am

  10. Rusty,

Thank you, but no. I’d rather not celebrate my year anniversary of being a menace to society.

    Comment by Bret — May 12, 2007 @ 8:42 pm

  11. Um, can I come? and bring the boy that I like with me?

Sopranos be damned, shy dorky Mormons are far more alluring.

    Comment by amri — May 13, 2007 @ 9:07 pm

  12. Amri,
Yes, please come. Email me at rustyclifton at gmail dot com.

  13. Sorry I can’t make it Rusty. Our next scheduled trip to Brooklyn to see the grandkids is not until mid-June. Maybe we’ll see you then!

    Have a great time.

  14. Look for a cameo from me. Can I bring something?

    Comment by Mark B. — May 16, 2007 @ 10:24 am

  15. Mark, email me.

    Comment by Rusty — May 16, 2007 @ 11:11 am

  16. Hey, Rusty, stop ignoring me! Seriously, when is the west coast one?

    Comment by Cheryl — May 16, 2007 @ 2:25 pm

  17. Cheryl,
    Um. Ask Steve Evans.

    Comment by Rusty — May 16, 2007 @ 2:54 pm

  18. [...] I’m coming to New York on Sunday and will be at Rusty’s house for an enjoyable evening.  My time will be pretty packed, but I hope to see a few of you there!!! [...]
