I’m 31 years old and from Spokane, Washington. My wife Sara, my baby Lucca and I currently reside in Park Slope, the heart of brownstone Brooklyn. We love New York City and plan on being here for a while.
I served my mission in the Guatemala City Central mission from 1996-1998. I currently serve on the High Council in the Brooklyn Stake.
I have an MFA degree in design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. I received my BFA in graphic design at BYU. I got my high school diploma from Central Valley High School in Spokane, Washington. I received my Jr. High certificate from Greenacres in Spokane, Washington. I got my elementary degree from Adams Elementary in Spokane, Washington.

Almost any cheese. Good ideas. Conversation (hence the blogging). New York restaurants. The Seattle Mariners. Thoughtful design. Teaching/discussing the Gospel. Hanging with my wife/family/friends. Movies. Good sarcasm. Playing Xbox online with friends. Dark wood floors. Tortillas frescas con aguacate y sal. Color. My iPhone. Google maps. Thoughtful people.
Things I don’t like:
Dumbness. The font Arial. Lowest-common-denominator systems. Filling out paperwork. Playing Xbox online against 7-year olds. The Yankees. New York customer service. Quark Express. The new AT&T logo. Subway cars without A/C. Human suffering. Poorly written movies. WalMart.
